Dulu, menggemari lagu ini cuma karena rapper nya: Puff Daddy (sekarang P-Diddy).

Lagu yang Puff Daddy (Feat. Faith Evans) bikin untuk di dedikasikan utk The Notorious B.I.G.

Ketemu tahun 1999, denger lagu ini jadi sedih gak karuan.

Gue inget Almarhum Abang no.2 gue..

Ketemu lagi tahun 2002, makin sedih kalo denger lagu ini.

Gue inget Almarhum Abang tertua gue..

Sekarang, tahun 2010... tadi pagi nemu lagu ini di playlist gue..

Nyesek lagi :'(

Karena hari ini tepat 1 bulan kepergialn Almarhum Bapak gue.



Memang sih lirik lagunya gak berhubungan dengan penyebab kematian Bapak dan Ayah gue.

Tapi garis besarnya sama. Sebagian liriknya mengenang seseorang, doa, harapan.

Gue, adik, nyokap masih suka sakit hati dan sedih setiap kali inget sosoknya Bokap.


Tapi gue sadar, gue punya iman, gue ga boleh egois.

Gue ga boleh berlama lama larut dalam kesedihan.

Inget film Lovely Bones? Yang anak perempuannya terbunuh tapi arwahnya masih berada di sekitar orang2 yang dia sayangi. Masih berada di tempat2 yang biasa dia lalui.

Ada adegan di film itu waktu sang ayah bersedih, nangis, hancur perasaannya karena teringat anak perempuannya. Kangen anak perempuannya..

Di alam lain, arwah si anak perempuannya juga ikut sedih dan nangis melihat ayahnya sedih..

Lalu di lain hari, waktu ayahnya mulai bisa menerima kematian si anak dan mulai tersenyum, arwah anaknya pun bersuka cita di alam sana. Gembira tak terkira. :)

Mungkin akan seperti itu kejadiannya.

Agama gue pun mengajarkan, bahwa kita cuma bisa menghadiahi orang2 tercinta yang pergi mendahului kita hanya dengan doa dan keikhlasan.

Kalau ikhlas kita bisa senyum.

Kalau kita senyum mereka pun tersenyum.
